Adam Craker

Adam Craker

Adam joined IQ Business in September 2009 and was appointed CEO in November 2010.

Education and Associations: Adam graduated in 1989 from the University of Warwick in the UK with a B.Sc. (First Class) in Management and Computer Science and went on to do his MBA at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1996.  Adam also has a Diploma in Marketing (Dip.M.) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).  Adam is also an active member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO)

Corrie Verburg

Corrie Verburg holds a BCom degree in Investment Management majoring in Accounting and Economics and is IQ Business’s Commercial and Financial Officer. He has experience in financial reporting aligning these with strategic goals as well as business requirements and his responsibilities include all financial functions for the conclusion and sign-off of Annual Financial Statements.

Wayne has 20 years experience in Information and Communications Technology. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand. His areas of expertise include ICT Management, Infrastructure Services, Bespoke Development, and Mining.

Area of expertise: Knowledge Management Business Case Development for the City of Johannesburg; Total Cost of Ownership of ICT Audit for Environmental Engineering Consultants, and being a Solutions Delivery Executive for the City of Johannesburg.


Sally-Anne Jansen

Before joining IQ Business in 2013, Sally spent nearly 8 years with Accenture, where the last two years were spent running Accenture Research in South Africa. In addition, Sally ran the Global Software research team, the SA and India Communication and the high-tech research team at Accenture.

Sally holds a Bachelors in Commerce degree from the University of Johannesburg and a post-graduate diploma in Business Management from WITS Business School. Sally also has her Level 1 CFA.

Lise Grobler

Lise has over twenty years’ of experience within the Information Technology, Consulting and Recruitment industries. She joined IQ eleven years ago and is currently heading up the IQ Internal Recruitment Team. Lise and her team focus on building a recruitment talent solution based upon specific Business Unit requirements. They continually aim to ensure that IQ Business has the right people, with the right competencies, in the right job at the right time.

Karl-Heinz is an experienced management consultant with specialist experience in software development.

Karl-Heinz has worked on many projects to deliver custom software solutions, implement software packages and provide consulting services in the form of enterprise and solution architecture, governance and strategy. He has also worked on projects in Australia, UK, India and Germany during short and medium-term assignments. These projects have been completed for a number of local small, mid-size and large corporate firms in several industry sectors but primarily in financial services and healthcare.

His key strengths are his ability to converse equally well with business and IT, his ability to work through problems collaboratively and to realise conceptual solutions. Karl-Heinz believes that he is able to look at a problem from different perspectives and at different levels of detail based on the required outcomes with a keen eye for detail.

Dean Jennison

Dean has spent more than 14 years in the consulting environment. He has over 11 years experience working with major financial institutions in South Africa, in areas such as Process re-engineering, risk, compliance, cash management, investment banking, secured lending, treasury operations and business and data migrations.

Dean has more than 12 years experience in various levels of project and programme management, some of this overlapping with his 4 years of computer auditing, data analysis and financial system reconstruction skills.

Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting) and Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree (Financial Management) from Rand Academic University (University of Johannesburg). He is also a qualified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Area of expertise: Consulting; Compliance and Risk Management; Programme Management and Strategy implementation. Dean has delivered a number of large projects across various clients, predominantly in the Banking industry.

David Nel

David Nel has over 20 years working experience, in a consulting environment and a commercial environment.

Joining IQ Business in 2014 as part of the Human Performance leadership, David focused on the Change Management and Human Performance Improvement consulting side of the business, before stepping into the overall leadership of the practice, now working across the full spectrum of Human Performance Consulting, incorporating L&D, Change and Strategic Human
Performance consulting. Prior to this David spent 8 years with Accenture where he consulted on large scale change and performance improvement projects.

Commercially, David has worked within the mining industry, specifically involved in the development and public listing of
greenfield mining and logistical ventures.

David holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce obtained from UNISA and the University of Johannesburg, having majored in Industrial Psychology and is registered as an Organisational Psychologist with the HPCSA.

Annabel Bean

Annabel joined IQ Business in July 2016 to grow IQ’s presence in the retail industry.  Since graduating from Wits Business School in December 1996, Annabel has divided her career between managing consulting and retail.

Retail experience includes exposure to every area in the business, from store operations to buying/  planning/ sourcing, liaison with IT to develop appropriate tools and HR to create effective organisational models.  Ultimately she focused on the buying/ planning/ sourcing elements of the business, with large scale transformation projects

Management consulting experience includes corporate strategy, operating model design including shared services, new business opportunity assessment, eCommerce business development and education, supply chain and procurement re-engineering.

Her ability to create commercially viable and implementable solutions for complex business situations, including creation of new businesses and extensive revamp of existing business models, means she is equally comfortable with large scale transformation projects and small quick win efforts.

Biase De Gregorio

Head of Agility

Biase is  passionate about people and delivery through Lean|Agile approaches, with a focus on creating awesome collaborative working environments.

As the head of the agility@IQ offering at IQ Business since 2012, he has built an amazing team of Agile consultants (largest in South Africa) that share a common purpose of continuous learning and improvement. Together with the team, they have trained close to 5000 people on Agile and been involved in some of the largest Agile transformations in financial services industry.

His background has been project and programme management in IT and his love for delivery has driven him in uncovering new and better ways to deliver products and services. He has been working at IQ since 2000, initially as a developer, then project management and involved in the management of operations of Software and Technology (Now known as Technology Enablement).

He believes in living by the boy scout principle of “Leave the camp site in a better way than what you found it” in all engagements that he is privileged to be involved in.

Biase has a BCom Honours in Informatics as well as Postgraduate diploma in Project and Programme management.
